# Change your team email

Update the email address that receives donor alerts and is used on donation receipts.

Your team email is used for email receipts and donor alerts. To change it, open **Settings** > **Profile**, edit **Team Email** and select **Save Email**.

By default it's set to the team owner's email address. Only team admins can change it.

## Change it

1. Select the gear icon in the top right, then **Settings**. You land on the **Profile** tab.
2. Find **Team Email** and edit the address in the **Email Address** box.
3. Select **Save Email**. FundHero shows "Email Saved".

If the address isn't valid, you see "Please enter a valid email address" and the button stays inactive. An empty field shows "Email is required".

## Things to know

- Only one email address can be saved here. Donor alerts and receipts use it.
- This isn't the address you send email from on a contact's page. When you use **Send Email** on a contact, **Send** opens your own email app, so those messages come from whichever account that app uses.
- If you can't see **Team Email**, you're not a team admin. Ask your admin to update it.
