# Create a donation page

Add a new donation page, choose its name, web address and template.

To create a donation page, go to **Donation Pages** > **Add Donation Page**, enter a name, pick a template and select **Create Page**. The name becomes the last part of the page's web address.

## Steps

1. Select **Donation Pages** in the top navigation.
2. Select **Add Donation Page**.
3. Under **Donation Page Name**, type a name. Spaces and special characters are removed and letters are lowercased, and the address shown under the box updates as you type: `https://secure.fundhero.com/<team>/<name>`.
4. Under **Page Template**, select a template. A short description appears below the choices.
5. Select **Create Page**. FundHero opens the page in the editor so you can fill it in. See [Edit a donation page](https://www.fundhero.com/help/edit-a-donation-page/).

If your team already has a page with that name, FundHero shows "A donation page with that name already exists". Choose a different name.

## Templates

| Template | What it's for |
|---|---|
| **Focus** | The default page, built to make giving as easy as possible. |
| **Story** | Lets you explain your cause in more detail while still emphasizing donations. |
| **Image** | Features a large picture on the right-hand side of the screen. |
| **Event** | Helps you run a fundraising event, from selling tickets online to organizing your attendee list. See [Event pages and tickets](https://www.fundhero.com/help/event-pages-and-tickets/). |

## What your plan includes

- **Basic** includes one donation page and the **Focus** template only. On Basic, **Add Donation Page** is locked and shows an upgrade prompt, and choosing Story, Image or Event and then **Create Page** also opens the upgrade prompt.
- **Professional** and **Organization** can create more than one page.

The page name can't be changed later from the editor. To get a different address, create or [duplicate](https://www.fundhero.com/help/duplicate-or-delete-a-donation-page/) a page with the new name.
