After you donate through a FundHero page, you are emailed a receipt at the address you entered. It lists the organization, the date, the donation amount and the total charged to your card.

## What the receipt shows

- A thank-you message from the organization. Organizations can customize this message.
- **Reference:** the organization's name on FundHero
- **Date:** the day you gave
- **Donation:** the amount of your gift
- **Fees Paid by Donor:** the amount you added if you chose **Cover processing fees**
- **Total:** the total charged to your card, with the card brand and last four digits
- A link to view your Stripe receipt

The subject is "Your" followed by the organization's name and "donation receipt". For a ticket order, it is "Your order receipt & tickets from" the organization's name.

Monthly donors get a receipt with the same details each month. The subject is "Your monthly" plus the organization's name and "receipt". It includes a link to [manage or cancel your donation](https://www.fundhero.com/help/cancel-a-monthly-donation/).

## If you didn't get a receipt

1. Check your spam or promotions folder.
2. Make sure you entered your email address correctly. Receipts go to the address you typed on the donation page.
3. Email [mail@fundhero.io](mailto:mail@fundhero.io) with the organization's name, the date and the amount.

## Tax records

The receipt footer gives the organization's contact address. Whether a gift is tax-deductible depends on the organization, and FundHero can't advise on this, so ask the organization.
