# Duplicate or delete a donation page

Copy an existing page to a new web address, or delete a page you no longer need.

**Duplicate** copies a page's settings to a new page with a web address you choose. **Delete** removes a page permanently, and it isn't offered for your team's main page.

Both are in the menu on the page's card in **Donation Pages**.

## Duplicate a page

1. Open **Donation Pages** and open the menu on the card of the page you want to copy.
2. Select **Duplicate**.
3. A box asks you to "Create a unique URL slug for your new donation page. Any spaces or special characters will be stripped." Enter a slug and save.

FundHero opens the new page in the editor, at `https://secure.fundhero.com/<team>/<slug>`. The slug is lowercased and stripped of spaces and special characters. If you already have a page with that slug, you see "Slug already exists" and no copy is made. The copy gets its own activity tag named after the slug, and on an Event page the tickets-sold counts start again at zero.

## Delete a page

1. Open **Donation Pages** and open the menu on the card of the page you want to remove.
2. Select **Delete**.
3. Confirm the prompt: "Are you sure you want to delete this donation page? This cannot be undone."

**Delete** doesn't appear for your team's main page, the one whose name matches your team name. If you only want to stop taking gifts, use **Pause donation page** instead.
