The Event template turns a donation page into an event page where donors can get paid or free tickets. You set up the date, location and ticket types in the editor, then follow sales and the attendee list on the page's screen.

The Event template isn't available on Basic. Promo codes aren't available for event tickets.

## Set up an event page

1. Create a page with the **Event** template. See [Create a donation page](https://www.fundhero.com/help/create-a-donation-page/).
2. In the editor, fill in:
   - **Event Banner Image** and **Event Title**.
   - **Event Date & Time:** **Start Date**, **Start Time**, **End Date (optional)** and **End Time**.
   - **Event Location:** choose a **Type** of **Venue**, **Online** or **Other**. Venue asks for **Address**, **City**, **State** and **Zip**. Online asks for **Event URL**.
   - **Description**, for an overview, schedule, sponsors and guests.
3. Under **Add Event Tickets**, choose **Paid** or **Free**, then enter **Ticket Name** and **Quantity**. For paid tickets, also enter **Price**. Select **Add Ticket**. Use **Add More Tickets** for more ticket types, and the menu on a ticket to **Edit** or **Delete** it.
4. Fill in **Organizer Details** (**Organizer Name** and a description) and **Point of Contact** (**Contact Email** and **Contact Phone Number**) so guests know who to ask.
5. Turn on **Donations enabled** under **Enable Additional Donations** if you want donors to be able to add a donation while they check out.
6. Select **Save**.

On the live page, donors select **Get Tickets** to start checkout. If the page is paused, donors see "This event is paused, or not yet active." instead of the button. See [Pause a donation page](https://www.fundhero.com/help/pause-a-donation-page/).

## Follow sales

Open the event from **Donation Pages**. The page shows:

- **Sales:** **Total Net Sales**, **Tickets Sold** and **Capacity**, plus a table of each ticket type with its price and **Sold/Total**.
- **Reports:** **Sales Summary by Ticket Type**, described as the full attendee list plus contact details. Select **Run Report** to open it in **Reports**.
- An attendee list you can search by name. It shows each attendee's name, amount and tickets, and a **Power Up** marker when they chose to cover processing fees. **Show more** loads more attendees.
