# Pause a donation page

Stop a page taking donations without deleting it or changing its URL.

You can pause a donation page to stop it accepting donations without deleting it. Donors who open a paused page see "This page is not accepting donations at this time".

1. Open **Donation Pages** from the main navigation. Each page card shows a status of **Active** or **Paused**.
2. Open the menu (the three dots) on the card for the page you want to stop.
3. Select **Pause donation page**. The card's status changes to **Paused**.

The page's URL (`https://secure.fundhero.com/<team>/<slug>`) doesn't change while the page is paused, so links you've already shared keep working. On an Event page, donors see "This event is paused, or not yet active." instead of the **Get Tickets** button.

To start taking donations again, open the same card menu and select **Re-publish donation page**. The status returns to **Active**.
