The "Complete your account" panel at the top of your dashboard walks you through four setup steps. Below it, the dashboard shows your campaign statistics, your fundraising goal, outstanding tasks and smart lists.
The Complete your account panel
The panel appears until all four steps are done. It shows a progress wheel ("N out of 4 steps completed") and one step at a time. Use the arrows at the top of the card to move between steps.
- Set up your donation page to start fundraising. Select Start Set Up to open the setup walkthrough, which connects Stripe so you can accept donations.
- Complete your first donation ask. Select Start Tutorial for a step-by-step tutorial on asking for donations.
- Add contacts to your database. Select Add Manually to add contacts one at a time, or Import Contacts to upload a list.
- Invite team members. Select Send Invites to open Settings > Team. See Invite and manage team members.
Steps 2, 3 and 4 have a Skip – Don’t show this any longer link if you don’t need them. Completed steps show a Completed badge.
FundHero marks a step done on its own in some cases. Step 1 is done once Stripe is connected. Step 3 is done once you have imported contacts or have more than 3 contacts. Step 4 is done once your team has other users.
The panel ends with: "Have Questions?" and links to the help center and Support.
Campaign Statistics
Dashboard figures can run a few seconds behind. Select manually reload to refresh them.
Under the heading are:
- Set your Donation Goal, a card that opens the goal wizard. Once you have saved a goal, this card is replaced by your goal progress. See Set a fundraising goal.
- A graph of donations over a date range.
Outstanding Tasks
If any contacts have tasks assigned to you, this section lists them with "Overdue" or "Due in N days". The menu on each task offers mark as complete, edit task and delete task. See all tasks opens the Outstanding Tasks list on the Contacts screen.
Smart Lists
Smart Lists are groups that FundHero keeps up to date for you, such as Active Donors or Contacts Need Thanks. Each card shows how many contacts match, a short tip, and a button that opens that list on the Contacts screen. Select Load more smart groups to see more cards. Flagged Contacts always appears as a card.
Fundraising Tips
When tip articles are available, the dashboard shows up to four cards under Fundraising Tips.
