Yes. Payments on FundHero donation pages are processed by Stripe, a payment processor used across the web, and each page shows the note "Secure payment processing by Stripe".
How your card details are handled
The card fields on a donation page are provided by Stripe, which handles your payment details. You enter them into Stripe’s payment form on the page.
Payment methods
The payment form shows the methods Stripe offers for your device and location, such as cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay. What you see can vary by browser and device.
Cover processing fees
On the donation page you can switch on Cover processing fees. This adds a small amount to your gift to cover the card fees so that the organization receives 100% of your contribution. It’s optional, and your receipt lists it as "Fees Paid by Donor".
Your information and privacy
Donation pages say that donations are subject to FundHero’s privacy policy. Your receipt goes to the email address you entered.
Check you’re on the right page
Real FundHero donation pages are on secure.fundhero.com, in the form https://secure.fundhero.com/<organization>/<page>. If an organization embeds its page on its own site, you’ll see the same page in a frame. If you aren’t sure a page is real, ask the organization.
If you have a concern about a payment, email mail@fundhero.io.
