You change your bank account and organization details in your Stripe Express dashboard, not in FundHero. Open it from Settings > Stripe > Open Stripe.
Open your Stripe dashboard
- Select the gear menu, then Settings.
- Open the Stripe tab. Only team admins can use it.
- Under "Stripe Connection", select Open Stripe. Your Stripe Express dashboard opens in a new tab.
- In Stripe, open your account settings and edit the details you need. Stripe’s layout changes from time to time, so look for your personal details, payout (bank account) details and account representatives.
The Open Stripe button appears only when a Stripe account is connected. To connect one, see Connect Stripe to accept donations.
If you open Stripe before you’ve completed onboarding, Stripe shows the unfinished setup steps instead of your dashboard.
If Stripe won’t let you change something
Some details, such as the legal entity type, are locked after verification. Stripe has to change these for you, so use the contact link at the bottom of Stripe’s screen to reach Stripe support. Tell them which details you need to change and the email address on the Stripe account. You can also email mail@fundhero.io and we’ll point you in the right direction.
Disconnect Stripe
Disconnect Stripe on the same tab removes the Stripe connection from your FundHero team. FundHero asks you to confirm first, and warns that you won’t be able to accept further donations.
Disconnecting only removes the link inside FundHero. It doesn’t close the Stripe account or change your bank details. After disconnecting, your team shows as not connected until you set up Stripe again. Don’t disconnect just to change your bank account. Edit it in Stripe instead.
