Stripe, not FundHero, pays donations into your bank account. Your first payout takes longer while Stripe verifies the account, and after that payouts arrive on Stripe’s rolling schedule. Your FundHero Payout Report shows an expected arrival date for each donation.
How the schedule works
- First payout: Stripe holds your first payout while it verifies your bank account. The old FundHero guide said to expect 7 to 10 days. Stripe sets the actual timing. See Stripe’s guide to first payout delays.
- After that: payouts follow a rolling schedule, which FundHero described as daily with a 2-day rolling delay. Stripe controls the schedule for your account. See Stripe’s payout schedule.
You can see the payouts for your account in your Stripe Express dashboard. Open it from Settings > Stripe > Open Stripe.
See arrival dates in FundHero
- Open Reports in the main navigation.
- Choose Payout Report.
- Set a date range and select Run Report.
The report has one row per successful card payment, with these columns:
| Column | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Name | The name on the card, as provided to Stripe |
| Donated Date | When the donor gave |
| Arrival Date | When the funds are expected in your bank. While the status is pending, Stripe estimates this date |
| Total Charged | What the donor’s card was charged |
| Amount transferred | What reaches your account after fees |
| Charge Id | Stripe’s ID for the payment |
| Payout Status | Stripe’s status for the payment |
| Refunded, Amount Refunded | Whether and how much was refunded |
Use Download to export the report as a CSV. The Payout Report notes that its data starts 12/1/19, and dates are based on UTC adjusted time.
The report totals show "Total Charged" and "Transfered Total". The second label is how it’s spelled in the app.
For why "Total Charged" differs from "Amount transferred", see Fees explained.
